By using SaveBill you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

1. What SaveBill Does

SaveBill is a free online bill-comparison tool that helps Australian consumers analyse their energy, telecom, and insurance bills and see potentially cheaper alternatives from other providers.

We are an independent comparison service. We are not an energy retailer, telecommunications provider, or insurance broker. We don't sell any of the plans shown — clicking "View plan" or "Get quote" takes you to the provider's own website.

2. Pricing Disclaimer

Plan prices shown on SaveBill are obtained from provider websites, the AER Consumer Data Right API, and publicly available sources. We make every effort to keep prices current, but providers change their pricing frequently.

Always verify the exact price on the provider's official website before signing up. We are not liable for discrepancies between displayed prices and actual provider pricing at the time you purchase.

Insurance premiums shown are indicative market ranges only. Your actual quote depends on personal factors (age, vehicle, claims history, address). Use the "Get quote" link to obtain a personal quote from the insurer.

3. Account

You must be 18+ and resident in Australia to use SaveBill.

Don't share your account with others. You're responsible for activity under your account.

Don't upload bills that aren't yours without permission.

4. Acceptable Use

Don't use SaveBill to:

• Upload fraudulent, defamatory, or illegal content
• Scrape, crawl, or automate access beyond normal personal use
• Reverse-engineer or copy our interface/branding
• Abuse the quote fetching system or any external provider sites we link to

We apply rate limits to protect the service and third-party APIs. Circumventing these may result in account suspension.

5. Affiliate Commissions

When you switch providers through a SaveBill referral link, we may receive a commission from the provider. This has no impact on the price you pay and does not affect how we rank plans — ranking is by objective criteria (monthly price, value-for-money score, speed) regardless of commission.

6. Liability

SaveBill is provided "as is". We're not liable for:

• Decisions you make based on our comparisons (always verify with the provider)
• Service interruptions or data loss
• Third-party provider websites, their policies, or outcomes from your dealings with them
• Inaccurate bill parsing (we use AI — errors can happen. Review extracted data carefully.)

Nothing in these terms limits non-excludable consumer rights you have under Australian Consumer Law.

7. Intellectual Property

You retain all rights to bills you upload. By uploading, you grant SaveBill a limited licence to process, store, and display the extracted data back to you in your account. Anonymized aggregate insights may be used to improve the service (see Privacy Policy).

SaveBill branding and interface are our property. Don't copy them.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. On termination, personal data is removed per our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Victoria.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email at least 14 days before taking effect.
